Entertainment
The best restaurants, clubs and bars are concentrated in the western suburbs, catering to those with the money and time to indulge. There are also small pockets of expat and tourist nightlife, particularly in and around Ximena's Guesthouse and La Ventana bar in Colonia America, behind Blvd de los Heroes. In El Centro and the less wealthy areas of the city, places tend to shut relatively early. There are lots of cinemas scattered around the city, mostly showing subtitled Hollywood releases. For listings , keep a look out for Ke Pasa , a free weekly entertainment guide available in bars, restaurants and cafes, which gives details of upcoming cultural, music and nightlife events. The Revue , Guatemala's English-language magazine, now includes an El Salvador section and is widely available throughout the city. As well as providing articles on new tourism projects in El Salvador it also advertises bars, restaurants and cafes popular with tourists and resident NGO workers.
