Eating and Drinking
There's not much choice when it comes to eating in Jimenez, but you certainly won't starve. The most popular place in town (particularly with tourists and expats) is the funky little Fish Store , which does very good fish tacos, fish and chips and proper home-made burgers - it's a great place to hang out with a cool drink, even if you're not in the mood for food. Another good meeting place is Restaurante Carolina , on the main drag, which has a comida tipica menu, while Soda La Parada , beside the Transportes Blanco bus stop, and Soda El Ranchito , next to the post office, are good places for a casado or plato del dia .
