La Fortuna Eating and Drinking

Eating and Drinking

Considering the number of tourists passing through, restaurant prices (US$5-7 per person for dinner) in La Fortuna are quite fair, catering for locals as much as visitors. The food is pretty much the same everywhere: the inevitable casados , platos del dia and arroz-con -whatever. There's no evening activity to speak of; Rancho la Cascada and Choza de Laurel are where people head for a beer.
