Practicalities
The roads down to Cabo Blanco are bad; you'll need 4WD to get there yourself, and watch the two creeks, which are deep at high tide. An old, road-hardened bus runs between Montezuma and Cabo Blanco, leaving from the side of Montezuma's parqueo at 8am, noon, 2pm and 7pm, returning to Montezuma at 7am, 9am, 1pm and 4pm daily except Sunday, although it may not run in the rainy season if it has been very wet. Jeep-taxis make the trip from Montezuma to Cabo Blanco for US$10 per person.
