Moving On From Jaco
Buses for San Jose leave the bus stop at the north end of Jaco daily at 5am and 3pm (2hr 30min-3hr). It's also possible to continue to Quepos and the Manuel Antonio area by walking 2km out to the Costanera Sur and flagging down the Puntarenas-Quepos or San Jose-Manuel Antonio buses that pass on the highway. Buses from Puntarenas to Quepos pass by about ninety minutes after leaving Puntareanas - it's a good idea to check times with locals and to get out onto the highway a few minutes early, just to be sure.
