At the eastern end of the bay, Havensight has a few malls, the cruise-ship dock and a couple of interesting but expensive attractions. For US$72, Atlantis Submarines , Havensight Cruise Ship Dock (tel 340/776-5650), will take you 90ft below the surface of the water where you can peer through portholes at stingrays, sharks and whatever else happens to swim by. Going to the other extreme, Paradise Point Tramway , 9617 Estate St, across the street from the Havensight Mall (tel 340/774-9809; US$15), operates gondolas that whisk you 700ft above sea level up the side of Slag Hill for stunning views of downtown, the harbour, Water and Hassel islands. Overpriced food and drinks await you at the top.
