All international flights arrive on the island of Providenciales. American Airlines flies there three times daily from Miami taking ninety minutes. It also operates weekend flights from JFK in New York. The flight takes three and a half hours. British Airways flies once a week from London, stopping in Nassau en route. The flight leaves Heathrow on Sundays at 9.55am and takes ten and a half hours. Air Canada flies in from Toronto on Saturdays. Bahamas Air leaves Nassau on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, for a two-hour flight. Finally, Air Jamaica flies in from Montego Bay from Friday to Monday. All four airlines turn round and fly out the same day.
