Tobago's flattest, most accessible portion is focused around a crowded five-kilometre stretch of Milford Road from the airport and Store Bay beach - a tiny area known as Crown Point - through Bon Accord, Canaan and Mount Pleasant, and 10km north along Shirvan Road to Buccoo, Mount Irvine and Plymouth . Usually lumped together as "the Lowlands ", this is home to most of Tobago's residents as well as the vast majority of hotels, restaurants, nightclubs and the most popular beaches; you'll inevitably spend a lot of time here. Tobago's most popular beaches are within shouting distance of the airport - Store Bay is a couple of minutes on foot, and Pigeon Point is about ten minutes further. Buccoo harbours two main attractions: an abundant reef , trawled by fleets of glass-bottom boats carrying snorkellers out to the coral, and the Nylon Pool , a metre-deep bathing spot on a sand bar in the middle of the bay. Sunday School , Tobago's biggest, brashest open-air party, is held in Buccoo as well. Potted attractions like the Arnos Vale water wheel complex and the Kimme art exhibition , as well as plenty of restaurants and the fabulous prospect of watching a turtle lay eggs metres from your hotel room, draw enthusiastic crowds of locals and tourists alike.
