For custom-designed hiking and wildlife tours , Margaret Hinkson's Educatours (tel 868/639-7422, magintob@hotmail.com ) organizes excursions with local guides; prices start at US$65 for a guided trek through the rainforest and on to Argyll Waterfall (6hr), including lunch. Renowned naturalist David Rooks (tel 868/639-4276, ) leads informed and professional tours to Little Tobago (US$65), Mark Puddy (tel 868/639-4931) leads fabulous offbeat hiking trips to deserted beaches and waterfalls (US$25-40), and Tobago's only female taxi driver, Liz Lezama (tel 868/639-2309 or 758-1748) offers an extensive island tour including lunch for US$60. Adventurous sea safaris aboard hobie cat mini-catamarans are available from Cool Runnings (tel 868/639-6363, fax 639-4755, ; US$95-235), while popular boat cruises are offered by several operators; prices range from US$35 for a two-hour sunset trip to US$70 per person for a six- to eight-hour cruise. Atmosphere varies from racy booze cruises to sedate sightseeing. Natural Mystic (tel 868/639-7245, fax 639-7888, mystic@tstt.net.tt ) is the best boat operator. Glass-bottom boat tours of Buccoo Reef (US$20) leave from Store Bay, Pigeon Point and Buccoo.
