Panyards
The best way to hear pan is live, in the open air on a warm starry night. Though there are many official events organized, an often more enjoyable time can be had by going to a local panyard when they practice - you may even be given the chance to play yourself. The most accessible panyards to visit in Port of Spain are BWIA Invaders (Tragarete Road, opposite the Queen's Park Oval, Woodbrook), Phase II Pan Grove (13 Hamilton St, Woodbrook) and Amoco Renegades (138 Charlotte St, Port of Spain).
