Although Carriacou's Carnival is in early March, the island's main event is the Carriacou Regatta , which takes place in late July/early August and brings boats of all kinds from all over the Caribbean. Petite Martinique also hosts an annual regatta over Easter. Jazz festivals are held on Grenada and Carriacou in May and mid-June respectively.
