The Expedition
This expedition was the first of its kind and should still be considered by those with an adventurous spirit, a flexible mind and a strong body.
The expedition will attempt the Rinjani summit from inside the calderas, up to the final summit ridge that is used today. We will approach this side of the mountain. we will head to Segara Anak and then use rubber boat to transport us to the shores of our first base camp. This camp will be used to explore the base of the active volcano, Gunung Baru, and then ultimately climb its 500m slope to its rim. We will peer into the calderas of a mountain that only erupted last year.
This is a truly unique way to climb one of the best volcanoes in the world.

Itinerary:
Day 01: Airport – senggigi
Pick Up and meeting service at the AirPort Selaparang then direct to Hotel senggigi for check in. Free at leisure or join to us for prepare the equipment. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 02: Senggigi – Sembalun Village – Rim II ( Sembalun crater )
Early morning at 05.30 am drive to sembalun village (it take around 3 hrs), and then start for the beginning of 7 hrs challenging days. We walk through the savannah, with tremendous opportunities for viewing wildlife. Lunch on the way ( base Camp III), Camp make on Rim II (Sembalun Crater).
Day 03: Rim II – Summit - Lake ( Segara Anak )
From the crater, early morning (about 03.00 am) commence the climb with Guide Team ascend the Summit of Mt. Rinjani (3.726m a.s.l.), it takes about 3 hours. After the obligatory photographs and enjoy the spectacular panorama descend to crater (the camp). After having second breakfast, going down to Segara Anak Lake, it takes about 3-4 hours. Then overnight around lake. (To spend your times take little walk to hot spring for sauna).
Day 04: Explore the lake and gunung baru Jari
Today we will explore the lake by our inflammable rubber boat and climb the new mountain in the middle of the lake ( gunung Baru). It takes around 1, 5 hrs to cross the lake and 2 hrs to climb to the real summit of gunung baru. Lunch will prepare by porter in the foot of gunung baru. Around 3 o'clock in the afternoon going back to the camp and overnight.
Day 05: Lake - Hot spring, Milk cave - Rim I
After breakfast, spend and relaxing near by hot spring pool and exploring to the steaming milk caves (lunch will prepare by porter awhile you have sauna). About 3o'clock afternoon, we start climb up to Rim I (crater of senaru) and overnight here.
Day 06: Rim I – Senaru Village - Senggigi
Having breakfast in the morning and enjoy sunrise by special mountain jaffle or pancake or scramble egg with toast then we taking back to the senaru village. Around 12 noon you will be ready at senaru village, and then transfer you to your next destinations. Trips End.
