you want to explore the island. Options include Carib (tel 264/497-6020), Connor's (tel 264/497-6433) or Triple K (tel 264/497-2934) and you can expect to pay US$45-50 a day. Most of the rental companies are based in The Valley, but will normally either deliver to your hotel or pick you up and bring you to their offices. Temporary licences cost US$20 and are supplied by the car rental company. Vehicles drive on the left.
