A five-minute walk south along the track from Ao Nuan brings you to AO CHO , a wide stretch of beach that seems to be less popular than the others and has just a couple of pretty similar, decent enough bungalow outfits: Wonderland (tel 01/438
8409; under $10) and TarnTawan ($5-10). Take the normal boat to Na Dan, then a songthaew (B30), or wait for the direct 2pm White Shark boat from Ban Phe to Ao Cho.
The horseshoe bay of AO WONG DEUAN , round the next headland, is dominated by pricey bungalow resorts and fringed with stalls. The cheapest accommodation is at Seahorse (tel 01/218 5629; $10-20). Four direct boats a day run here from Na Dan; or take a boat to Na Dan then a B30 ride in a songthaew.
