Practicalities
Several BLTB buses run daily from Pasay to Tagaytay (2hr) on their way to Nasugbu. Hiring a car and driver for the day gives you the flexibility of stopping at one of the pleasant little garden restaurants along the roadside. To get to Talisay , take a BLTB bus from Manila marked for Lemery and get off at Tanauan, where you can catch a jeepney at the public market. From Tanauan to Talisay takes thirty minutes along a bumpy road. From Batangas City take a bus marked for Manila, but make sure first that it passes through Tanauan. Alternatively, from Batangas you can take a bus that passes through Tagaytay City, from where there are regular jeepneys to Talisay (40min; P25).
