little coastal town makes a good stop on the journey north from Puerto Princesa towards El Nido. Buses leave Port Barton every morning at 5.30am, 6.30am and 7.30am (P54) and arrive in Taytay at the market. There is a small airstrip at Sandoval on the northern edge of Taytay Bay, served by Seair flights from Manila. For accommodation , the only real option in Taytay itself is Pem's Pension House ($10-15) on Taytay Bay near the fort, which has cottages with fan and bath.
