Just beyond the View Point Hotel is the Peaceful cottage and cafe dumont
(01-6680077) which has rooms of varying standards.The prices start from $5/8 for hardboard partitioned cells with views ,and there are also better rooms with private bath and hot water for $10/20.Topping the rise is the cafe du mont with Magnificent views, and average food (you can't have everything!).
