Shopping
Kathmandu is the obvious place to do some serious shopping , especially if it's your last stop before leaving the country. Just about all of the handicrafts are sold in or around Kathmandu. Usually items will be cheaper where they're actually made, but keen competition keeps prices low in the capital. The majority of wool, metal, wood and "Tibetan" items are made in the valley anyway.
Can you help...?Me says "I have never been to Kathmandu in my life... but does anyone know any kind of websites that might help about the basic knowledge of it? I'm doing a report on it and everything I search for is off-topic or has to do with tours and vacations and stuff. SO HELP ME!!!!!!!"
