Travel Within Nepal
For better or worse, most people make Kathmandu their base for travels within Nepal. The country is so centralized, with Kathmandu its transport hub, that a grand tour easily becomes a series of trips out from the capital and back again. This, admittedly, has its advantages: you can make good use of the tourist bus services and choose from the most reputable trekking, rafting and cycle-touring companies. It's also easy to leave luggage with your guest house in Kathmandu, allowing you to travel lightly around the country
Can you help...?Me says "I have never been to Kathmandu in my life... but does anyone know any kind of websites that might help about the basic knowledge of it? I'm doing a report on it and everything I search for is off-topic or has to do with tours and vacations and stuff. SO HELP ME!!!!!!!"
