For nightlife , Dalian has lots of bars in all parts of the city. You might start at Greenery Beer House, on the corner of Renmin Lu and San Sheng Jie, east of Zhongshan Square, which has a pseudo-beer-hall interior and bottled beers from around the world. Nearby is the more homey Music Bar at Yan'an Lu and Wuhan Jie, which, surprise, features live music on weekends. In the western part of town, next to Parkson's department store at Xi'an Jie and Changjiang Jie, is the Ghost Bar, a perfect place to satiate a need for draught beer, low ceilings and occasional karaoke outbursts. Noah's Ark Bar and Cafe, across the street from the southern edge of People's Square, is also a favourite with locals.
