Everything that's said up above about crime in Argentina is COMPLETELY OUTDATED AND WRONG. Argentina is one of the most DANGEROUS countries to go to in 2008. Kidnappings, violent muggings and rapes are pandemic. People are shot on a daily basis for a nickel. The police are EXTREMELY inefficient AND corrupt and so is the argentine "legal system".
TRAVEL AT YOUR OWN RISK. You've been warned.
