Pretoria has plenty of good restaurants , particularly around the Hatfield and Brooklyn areas, where they tend to congregate around a handful of popular upmarket shopping centres. If you're prepared to explore a bit further there are some very interesting places serving South African food. Cafes are numerous and varied; again, Hatfield is the more stylish area, although you can still find a place to sip espresso right in the city centre.
