Moving On

Buses for most destinations leave from the main bus station or gare routiere just north of Bab Mahrouk, between Kasbah Cherada and Borj Nord. CTM however leave from their office on the corner of Rue Tetouan and Avenue Mohammed V in the Ville Nouvelle. For buses for Nador/Melilla, ONCF/Supratours run connecting buses from Taorirt on the Oujda line; you can buy tickets straight through.

Like buses, grands taxis mostly operate from the gare

routiere . Exceptions are those for Immouzer, Ifrane and Azrou (and sometimes Marrakesh), which use a rank opposite the CTM office, 100m west of Place de l'Atlas and those to Sefrou (and sometimes Immouzer), which use a rank 100m down southeast of Place de la Resistance (aka La Fiat). Meknes grands taxis depart from outside the train station. Grands taxis based at Bab Ftouh run to Sidi Harazem, Taza, Taounate and other points east and north of Fes.
